If you don't want a program to start automatically in Windows 10 when you boot up your PC, you can simply remove it from the startup list. We show you how that works in three easy-to-follow steps.
Windows 10 Startup: Disabling Programs explained step-by-step
- First, you need to open the Task Manager with Ctrl+Alt+Del. (Mac-User have to press Command+Spacebar and search for "Activity Monitor".)
- Then click on "Startup" in order to reach the list of programs.
- In the Startup list, you need to search for the app you no longer want to start automatically. Click on it and select "Disable"
